Stefan Struve vs Mark Hunt Odds

One of the most intriguing fights on the upcoming UFC on Fuel TV 8: Silva vs Stann card (which is set to take place on March 3rd) is a heavyweight tilt between Mark Hunt and Stefan Struve.

In Struve and Hunt, you have two of the most crowd-pleasing heavyweights in the UFC. Neither Struve nor Hunt is fighting for a decision victory - they are both going for the finish 100% of the time.

This is a fairly pivotal fight for both men. Both men are in the midst of winning streaks, and both men would draw one step closer to a possible shot at the Heavyweight title with a victory.

Mark Hunt, for instance, is currently in the midst of a three fight winning streak that includes victories over Cheick Kongo, Ben Rothwell and Chris Tuchscherer. After getting off to a shaky start in the UFC (being tapped out by Sean McCorkle qualifies as a shaky start), Mark Hunt has unexpectedly turned things around.

Stefan Struve, on the other hand, is currently in the midst of a four fight winning streak that includes victories over Stipe Miocic, Lavar Johnson, Dave Herman and Pat Barry. Struve won two of those fights via submission, and the other two fights via knockout.

Struve, who is just 24 years of age, is seemingly getting better with each passing fight.

As of this moment, Stefan Struve is a small favorite to beat Hunt at UFC on Fuel TV 8: Silva vs Stann. Here are the current betting odds as of this moment:

Stefan Struve, -170
Mark Hunt, +150

These odds mean that a $170 bet on Struve would yield a total profit of $100, while a $100 bet on Hunt would yield a profit of $150.

This should be an exceptional fight that will almost certainly end up some kind of a spectacular knockout or submission victory.

Will Mark Hunt continue his improbable run, or will Struve move one step closer to a title shot?
