With Tyson Fury busy with Francis Ngannou, the next "big" Heavyweight fight looks to be Anthony Joshua vs Deontay Wilder.

Following Joshua's defeat of Robert Helenius, the wheels were put in motion for Anthony Joshua vs Deontay Wilder, which is likely the biggest Heavyweight fight that could be put together at the moment that doesn't involve Tyson Fury.

Anthony Joshua now has two straight victories, and he seems to be building back his confidence after two straight losses to Oleksandr Usyk.

Deontay Wilder is also coming off of a win against Helenius, who he beat in October of 2022 via knockout.

Joshua v Wilder will be a massive, massive fight.

We know what Deontay Wilder is - an extremely hard-hitting boxer who is hard to put away. Wilder was knocked out in his last loss to Tyson Fury, though he showed a tremendous amount of heart.

The knock on Anthony Joshua is that he doesn't seem to have much heart and tenacity, and it will be fascinating to see how that plays out against the hard-hitting Wilder.

Here are the opening odds for the fight - as you can see, Wilder is a slight favorite to win:

Putting these big-money fights together is always difficult - let's hope that the promoters can pull it off, as this would be a fascinating tilt.
