Romario de Souza Faria, known as Romario, is a former Brazilian football player and one of history's greatest strikers.

He played for clubs like Vasco da Gama, PSV Eindhoven, Barcelona, and Flamengo, and was key in Brazil's 1994 FIFA World Cup win. His outstanding World Cup performances earned him the title of FIFA World Player of the Year in 1994.

He was nicknamed "Baixinho," meaning "The Little One" or "Shorty" in Portuguese.

Famous for his awesome goal-scoring talent, Romario had an innate ability to be at the right place at the right time. He was known for his low center of gravity, quick reactions, and precise finishing.
