Can Tony Romo and the Dallas Cowboys Beat Detroit on Sunday?

The Dallas Cowboys are seven point favourites heading into their NFC Wild Card tilt against Detroit on Sunday but don't blame Cowboys fans if they are feeling more than just a little nervous.

After all, the Dallas Cowboys under QB Tony Romo have had an incredibly bad run in the playoffs. It seems that something always goes wrong for Tony Romo and the Cowboys when the playoffs start, which is why many Cowboys fans are holding their breath heading into Sunday's clash.

The Dallas Cowboys SHOULD win this game. After all, they have the best running back in the NFL (DeMarco Murray), an amazing offensive line, a defense that has outperformed expectations and one of the best wide receivers in the game in Dez Bryant. In addition, when QB Tony Romo is on, he is one of the best quarterbacks in the game.

The problem, of course, is that the Detroit Lions have THE best running defense in the NFL and it's not even close. If the Lions can put a lid on DeMarco Murray, will Tony Romo and Dez Bryant be able to lead the Cowboys to victory?

What about Matthew Stafford and the Lions attack? Will the Cowboys be able to stop Calvin Johnson and Golden Tate, arguably one of the best one-two punches in the league at wide receiver?
