And the odds for the worst NFL team this season are... There are going to be some very bad teams in the NFL this season.

The Jacksonville Jaguars, for instance, are clearly going all-in on the Trevor Lawrence sweepstakes, as they have traded away practically all of their good players.

Washington, which won't even have a nickname this season, is trending to be absolutely awful as well.

The Carolina Panthers essentially have CMC and nobody else, while the Cincinnati Bengals may or may not be awful, depending on how Joe Burrow does.

What does the odds say? Who do the bookmakers believe will be the worst team in the NFL this season?

Here are the current betting odds for the ten teams that are seen as having the best odds of finishing as the NFL's worst team this season (courtesy of a major offshore sportsbook):

Jacksonville Jaguars, +300
Washington, +600
Carolina Panthers, +900
Cincinnati Bengals, +1000
New York Giants, +1200
Miami Dolphins, +1400
New York Jets, +1400
Detroit Lions, +2000
Las Vegas Raiders, +2000
Arizona Cardinals, +2500

The early betting money has been on the Jacksonville Jaguars to finish as the worst team in the NFL, and it's not hard to see why. Try naming more than 2-3 players that are still on their team heading into the 2020 season.

Washington could be extremely bad as well, as their franchise is seemingly in a constant state of disarray, and their QB situation hasn't really improved at all, despite spending a high first round pick on a QB last season.

The Carolina Panthers and Cincinnati Bengals could both do better than expected. It's hard to see either franchise doing worse than Jacksonville or Washington this season, though anything could happen.
