Leicester City's Odds of Winning English Premier League Title Continue to Improve

It's starting to look like Leicester City could very well pull off the impossible this season by defying all odds to win the English Premier League title.

Heading into this weekend's batch of EPL games, Leicester City held a five point lead over Tottenham and an eight point lead over Arsenal. Time is on Leicester's side, as there is just 7 games left in the season.

Tottenham stumbled earlier today, playing to a 1-1 draw against Liverpool in Anfield. While this result wasn't certainly not unexpected, it did represent crucial lost points for the side from Tottenham at a time when they can not afford to give up any more ground.

Arsenal, on the other hand, managed to easily win their match against Watford, which means that they are currently five points behind Leicester City, while Tottenham sits four points back. Leicester City, however, still has a game in hand, which it will be playing tomorrow (at King Power Stadium) against Southampton in a game that Leicester should win.

Man City, Man Utd and West Ham, on the other hand, are still mathematically alive but would need a minor miracle in order to catch Leicester. Man City was 12 points behind Leicester City heading into this weekend, while West Ham was 15 points back.

Assuming that Leicester City wins tomorrow, they would possess a seven point lead over Tottenham and an eight point lead over Arsenal. This would mean that, barring some sort of unprecedented collapse over the final 6 games of the season, Leicester City would walk away with the title.

Here are the current odds to win the English Premier League title:

Leicester City, 8/15
Tottenham, 7/2
Arsenal, 4/1
Man City, 66/1
Man Utd, 250/1
West Ham, 500/1

Can Leicester City pull off one of the biggest miracles in the history of modern sports? Stay tuned.
