Patrick Sieloff scored exactly two goals in two NHL games, but his unusual career quickly ended after alienating his teammates. Patrick Sieloff has one of the most bizarre stat lines in the history of the NHL.

Sieloff has played in TWO career NHL games - one with the Calgary Flames and one with the Ottawa Senators.

Sieloff, who is a defenseman, scored a goal in BOTH of those games.

That's right - Sieloff has played in two career NHL games and has two goals.

Sieloff, who was taken by the Calgary Flames in the second round of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft, is currently a 30 year-old free agent who will likely never play in the NHL again.

So what happened? How does a second round pick who scored two goals in two NHL games never see the light of day?

After playing for a couple of years for the US National Development Team, Sieloff played in the OHL for a season with the Windsor Spitfires.

The Flames liked what they saw out of Sieloff and elected to take him in the second round of the 2012 NHL Draft.

After spending a few years in the Flames minor league system, Sieloff finally got his big break during the 2015-16 NHL season, when he was called up to the Flames.

Sieloff immediately made an impact, scoring a goal in his first and only game with the Flames.

Shortly into the 2016 offseason, Sieloff was traded to the Ottawa Senators for Alex Chiasson.

During Senators training camp, Sieloff did himself zero favours when he laid out fellow teammate Clarke MacArthur with a concussion. Sieloff's teammates were furious, and numerous Senators tried to fight Sieloff. Sieloff was removed from the game and was immediately sent down to the minors.

After toiling in the minors for a few years, Sieloff was called up to the Senators on March 20th, 2018, where he scored a goal in a losing cause. Sieloff was then immediately sent back down to the minors, where he enjoyed a great deal of success.

In early 2019, Sieloff was traded to the Anaheim Ducks. Unfortunately for Sieloff, he would never crack the team.

Sieloff would continue to bounce around the North American minor leagues and Europe, and is currently a free agent.

Sieloff has a place in NHL history that will be nearly impossible to duplicate - two teams, two games, two goals.
