Man City 1/4 Favourites To Win at Home on Saturday

Manchester City, fresh off of an impressive win over Barcelona in Champions League play, will take on Middlesbrough at home on Saturday.

Man City had been struggling heading into their UCL match, though they turned in an inspirational performance earlier this week to top the likes of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar Jr. Many expected that Man City would drop that contest to continue their recent doldrums, though the team united and came together at the perfect time.

Man City's fans will now hope that this uptick will extend to the English Premier League, where Man City is in a fierce battle for the top spot in the league.

Here are the current odds for the match between Man City and Middlesbrough:

Man City, 1/4
Draw, 5/1
Middlesbrough, 11/1

Man City currently has a record of 7-2-1, which puts them in a three-way tie with the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool. Man City has the strongest goal differential of the three, however, which means that they are the top team in the league.

Middlesbrough, on the other hand, is languishing near the basement, as they have managed a record of just 2-4-4 over their first ten matches of the season.

It seems hard to imagine that Middlesbrough will be able to top Man City on Saturday.
