Here are the current betting odds to win the Premier League:

Man City, 1.02
Liverpool, 17.00

Heading into their May 7th game against Aston Villa, Man City was already a virtual lock to win the title. However, after a 4-0 trouncing of Aston Villa, Man City moved even closer to securing the title.

If you were to bet $100 on Man City to win the title, you would only stand to earn a $2 return if they finish on top. That should illustrate to you just how much of a lock Man City is to win the title.

However, there has been a great deal of craziness in the major football leagues so far this season - just when you think that a team has things locked up, something unbelievable will happen that will throw the race into turmoil once again. Will that happen this weekend when Man City and Liverpool take to the field?

Man City will be playing at home to West Ham this weekend, while Liverpool will be taking on Newcastle.

The only chance that Liverpool has of winning the League is if they beat Newcastle and Man City loses at home to West Ham. Considering that West Ham currently has a record of 11-7-19, this seems unlikely, but crazier things have happened. If Man City plays to a draw and Liverpool wins, Man City will win the title based on goal differential (they currently have a goal differential of 63 goals, while Liverpool lags far behind with a GD of 50).

In short - Man City is definitely in the driver's seat heading into this weekend's action.
