Average Per Game Pay in Major Sports Leagues

Considering that the very popular National Football League in the United States only has 16 regular season games, it's first-team players receive the highest average per game pay in all of sports. In USDs that amounts to $168,798.

Thanks in part to the newly signed lucrative TV deal, the highest paid overall are the NBA players who play 82 regular season games and receive $87,161 per game on average.

The English Premier League players are the highest paid in the sport of soccer and receive $90,402 on average for each of the 38 games they play.
