Champions League Group Stage action returns this week with a total of 16 matches spread out over Tuesday and Wednesday.

The highlight of the schedule is likely to be a heavyweight tilt between Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona, which will get underway on Tuesday afternoon. There are also a number of other intriguing games including Atletico Madrid v Juventus, Arsenal v Galatasaray and Man City v Roma.

Of this week's contests, the biggest mismatches (at least according to the bookmakers) are:

CSKA Moscow (10.00) vs Bayern Munich (1.28)
Ludogorets (12.00) vs Real Madrid (1.20)

The closest contests:

APOEL Nicosia (2.87) vs Ajax (2.50)
Shakhtar Donetsk (2.45) vs Porto (2.90)

Now, here are the odds for the "big" games that we listed above:

PSG (3.50) vs Barcelona (2.05)
Arsenal (1.44) vs Galatasaray (7.00)
Man City (1.70) vs Roma (4.80)
Atletico Madrid (2.10) vs Juventus (3.75)

A number of well-known clubs desperately need wins in their second matches of the group stage to keep pace with the leaders of the group. I would include the likes of Atletico Madrid, Arsenal, Man City and Paris Saint-Germain in this mix.

It should be an outstanding week of football.
