The deal terms for the third mega-fight between two boxers was successfully enforced. Hold the phone - the mega-fight between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua won't happen quite yet.

Earlier this week, Deontay Wilder successfully forced Tyson Fury to accept the third fight that was allegedly promised to the former champion.

Fury had moved on and was planning on fighting Anthony Joshua, though Wilder was able to enforce the terms of their original deal to force a third fight between the two men.

So, if you wanted it or not, Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder will be facing off for the third (and likely final) time on Saturday, July 24th.

In the meantime, Anthony Joshua will be defending his title against Oleksandr Usyk in August.

If Joshua and Fury both win, there will be nothing stopping the mega-fight between the two men from happening, likely in early 2022.

Deontay Wilder had every excuse in the book for why he lost the second fight against Tyson Fury.

In fact, he blamed his loss on the fact that the costume he wore to the ring was too heavy, and this tired him out early.

In reality, Fury put on a master class of boxing, and it's hard to imagine the outcome of the third fight being any different than the second. Has Wilder suddenly become a better boxer than Fury? Seems unlikely.

At any rate, Fury and Wilder will be squaring off on July 24th, and Fury has been installed as a big favourite to win. Here are the current betting odds as of this moment, courtesy of Bet365:

Odds Subject to Change

Tyson Fury, 1.28
Deontay Wilder, 3.50

As you can see, Fury is the clear favourite to win.

Given Fury's popularity in Europe, I would expect that the odds will be bet down even more in Fury's direction as the fight draws closer.
