On June 5th, #1 ranked men's player Novak Djokovic will be squaring off against Andy Murray in the semi-finals of the French Open.

The path to the French Open Finals for Novak Djokovic cleared out a bit on Wednesday after he managed to dispatch clay court specialist Rafael Nadal in straight sets, 7-5, 6-3, 6-1. Nadal, who was formerly untouchable at Roland-Garros, has seen his play degrade as of late due to a rash of injuries.

Andy Murray, on the other hand, needed four sets (7-6, 6-2, 5-7, 6-1) to dispatch of David Ferrer. This sets up a semi-final match between the world's #1 and #3 ranked players.

Novak Djokovic is playing some of the best tennis of his career right now and nobody is too confident that Murray will be able to put up much of a fight.

Here are the current odds for the semi-final battle:

Novak Djokovic, 1/6
Andy Murray, 4/1

According to these odds, Djokovic has a 85.47% chance of winning (according to the bookmakers), while Andy Murray has a 20% chance of winning.

Surprisingly enough, Djokovic has never won the French Open, despite making two trips to the finals (2012, 2014), With clay court master Rafael Nadal and long-time nemesis Roger Federer both knocked out of the event, Djokovic now has a pretty clear path to his first victory in the event.

Can Djokovic hold off Andy Murray, who has been playing decidedly stronger tennis as of late, or will Murray score the upset?
