The heavily favoured Saul "Canelo" Alvarez will look to build upon his extremely impressive 48-1-1 record when he takes on Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. on Saturday night at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Alvarez has won his last six fights in a row since suffering the only loss of his career to Floyd Mayweather Jr. in September of 2013. Since that time, Alvarez has beaten the likes of Amir Khan, Miguel Cotto and James Kirkland.

Despite having 50 professional fights on his resume, Alvarez is still just 26 years of age. Thanks to his Mexican heritage, Alvarez is one of the biggest drawing fighters in the world.

Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. enters this fight with a record of 50-2-1. Chavez Jr. has won his last two fights in a row, including wins over Dominik Britsch and Marcos Reyes. These two wins helped to earn Chavez Jr. the highest profile fight of his career, as he will step into the ring against Alvarez on Saturday night.
