Cristiano Ronaldo and Juventus Look to Move Through Against Ajax

Juventus suffered a scare in the Round of 16, as they were very nearly dispatched by Atletico Madrid. The magic of Cristiano Ronaldo got them through, however, and now Juventus will likely face a much easier task when they take on Ajax in the Champions League quarter-finals.
Ajax will be playing in front of their home fans this Wednesday, though an Ajax win is still seen as an unlikely proposition by the bookmakers.
This should come as no surprise, as Cristiano Ronaldo is seemingly immortal in Champions League play, and there is practically no doubt that he will lead his team to victory in the quarter-finals.
Juventus has been pretty uneven during the 2018/19 Champions League tournament so far, though they have won when it has mattered.
Unlike the other top teams left in the tournament, Juventus has already lost three times in Champions League, including a 2-0 loss to Atletico Madrid. Juventus would do well not to dig themselves into another hole against Ajax.
Ajax, on the other hand, will be brimming with confidence when they take the pitch this Wednesday, as they are still surely basking in the glory of their win over Real Madrid in the Round of 16. Combine that with two draws against Bayern Munich in the Group Stage and Ajax likely feels like they can beat anybody right now, which makes them a dangerous team.
Ajax brings a very potent offensive attack into the quarter-finals against Juventus, though Ronaldo and company have one of the better defences left in the tournament. Something will have to give.
