It's just like the old days again - Tiger Woods is the odds-on favorite to win a major golf tournament.

After a very tumultuous couple of years, Tiger Woods has seemingly regained his stroke and is winning tournaments once again. Thanks to his strong year so far, Woods has regained his #1 ranking in the world.

The one thing that has eluded Woods since all of his troubles began, however, is a major championship.

Can he finally add to his collection of major tournaments this weekend?

Let's take a look at some of the current betting odds to win this weekend's US Open:

Tiger Woods, +500
Charl Schwartzel, +1200
Phil Mickelson, +1200
Adam Scott, +1800
Rory McIlroy, +1800
Graeme McDowell, +2000
Ian Poulter, +2800
Lee Westwood, +2800
Luke Donald, +2800

So, according to these odds, a successful $100 wager on Tiger Woods would yield a total profit of $500 if he were able to win the tournament.

On the other hand, a successful $100 wager on former #1 Rory McIlroy would return a total profit of $1,800.
