People are often surprised to learn that Novak Djokovic, who has nine Grand Slam titles under his belt, has only won the US Open once (2011).

Following the injury to and subsequent withdrawal of Rafael Nadal (Djokovic's #1 nemesis) from the US Open, the path cleared for Djokovic to make a run at his second title. Sure, there are some outstanding players that are still standing in his way (namely Roger Federer, who has revitalized his career this year and poses a legitimate threat to Djokovic and his aspirations of a second US Open title), but Djokovic is still the odds-on favourite to win.

Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray will square off in a quarter-final match on Wednesday and Djokovic is currently the clear favourite to win. Here are the current betting odds:

Novak Djokovic, 1.28
Andy Murray, 3.75

Andy Murray is an interesting story this season. Following his breakthrough win at Wimbledon in 2013, Murray has failed to follow up and has actually taken a step back this season, as he is currently the #9 ranked player in the world. This setback led Murray to replace his coach Ivan Lendl with Amelie Mauresmo.

From Murray's perspective, Wednesday represents a chance to take back his 2014 season and make it less of a disappointment. Defeat Djokovic in the quarter-finals and Murray would have a clear path to the finals, though that is obviously easily said than done, as Djokovic is THE top player in the world and has been playing some phenomenal tennis in 2014.

Can Murray pull off the upset on Wednesday or will Djokovic continue to steamroll through the tournament? Djokovic has not lost a set so far this tournament and has only lost a total of 28 games through four matches. Andy Murray, on the other hand, has dropped two sets so far this tournament.

Who do you have - Murray or Djokovic?
