Aaron Rodgers and his Record 122.5 QB Rating: The Greatest Season. The passer rating, or QBR, is used to judge the efficiency of a quarterback.

Zero is the lowest possible rating, while 158.3 is a perfect rating.

In order to achieve a perfect 158.3 QB rating, a quarterback must:

1. Post a completion percentage of at least 77.5%

2. Throw for at least 12.5 yards per attempt

3. Throw at least 1 touchdown for every 8.421 attempts

4. Throw zero interceptions

This leads to the next question - which quarterback posted the highest QBR in a single season?

The answer? Aaron Rodgers, who posted a 122.5 QB rating during his 2011 season with the Green Bay Packers.

Aaron Rodgers was practically unstoppable in 2011 while leading the Packers to a 15-1-0 record.

Rodgers finished the season with a total of 4,643 passing yards, 45 touchdowns and just 6 interceptions, despite taking the last game of the season off to rest.

Rodgers completed 343 of 502 pass attempts for a completion percentage of 68.33%, while rushing for an additional 257 yards and three touchdowns.

The lowest QB rating in a single game for Rodgers during that season came when the Packers lost 19-14 to the Kansas City Chiefs on the road. In that contest, Rodgers threw for 235 yards and 1 touchdown.

Rodgers had four games in 2011 where he posted a QB rating of at least 140, including three straight games during the middle of the season.

Rodgers had no multiple interception games that year, and in 9 of his 15 games threw zero interceptions.

Unsurprisingly, Rodgers won the MVP award in 2011 and finished second in OPOY voting behind Drew Brees.

The 2011 season wouldn't have a happy ending for Rodgers, however, as the Packers would be bounced by the New York Giants in the second round.
