Italian Serie A - Salaries and financials - 2015/16 seasonAfter a three year slump, the Serie A salaries are on the rise again. The Italian clubs are paying out a total of €882m in salaries in 2015/16, which is an increase by €33m compared to last season.

The record for gross salaries paid was set in 2011/12 when €1.1b was spent.

It is nice to see the Italian Serie A attracting top talent.

Inter Milan bumped up their salaries the most since last season - from €70m - €94m, while Fiorentina cut their salaries the most by €10m.

All teams combined spent in the area of €600m to bring in new players to the league during the 2015 summer transfer window.
