Saul Alvarez is set to defend his WBC Light Middleweight title against Austin Trout on Saturday, April 20th. The fight will be taking place at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.

In Saul Alvarez you have one of the most dynamic young fighters in the world. Just 22 years of age, Alvarez already has an amazing 42 professional fights under his belt, and has managed to put together a near flawless record of 41-0-1. The only blemish on Alvarez's record, if you can call it that, was a draw against Jorge Juarez all the way back in June of 2006. Since that date, Alvarez has managed to reel off dozens and dozens of victories without dropping a single bout. 30 of Alvarez's 41 wins have come via knockout.

As mentioned, Alvarez will be defending his title against Austin Trout. Trout, five years the elder of Alvarez, has amassed a perfect 26-0-0 record over the course of his professional career, with 14 of those wins coming via knockout. Alvarez scored the biggest win of his career in his last fight, as he was able to beat Miguel Cotto via unanimous decision at Madison Square Garden in December of last year.
