PGA Golf Championship 2018 - Odds and preview. The 2018 PGA Championship will get underway this Thursday at the Bellerive Country Club. The defending champion is Justin Thomas.

As you can expect for the PGA Championship, the field is absolutely loaded with top talent that includes the likes of Dustin Johnson, Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy. Golf fans are still buzzing from the run that Tiger Woods recently made in several big tournaments, and there is a feeling that this may be the tournament where he puts everything together.

Despite Tiger's recent strong play, he is still just 26/1 to win the PGA Championship at most major sports books. Gamblers are not quite believers in Tiger's career revival just yet, as a great deal of the betting action has fallen on names such as Johnson and McIlroy.

Thanks to a heat wave, the greens at Bellerive are not in the best of conditions, as they are dry and crusty in some locations. On the other hand, Bellerive has some of the biggest greens on the tour. Players haven't expressed much of a concern during practice rounds, so perhaps it won't be a very big factor.

There is a tremendous amount of value in names such as Spieth, Woods and McIlroy, as they are top players that are capable of winning any tournament that they play in.

That being said, the field is absolutely stacked and it is anybody's tournament to win.
