Tonight is the game 7 of the NHL hockey finals. Who is the favourite to win? One thing for certain in this year's edition of the Stanley Cup Finals - home ice advantage has not meant much.

The St. Louis Blues had the opportunity to close out a Stanley Cup on home ice in Game 6 and they were blown out by the Bruins. The road team has won multiple games in this series.

Heading into game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals later tonight, the advantage would definitely seem to lie with the Bruins, who will be playing in front of their fans. However, the Blues are scrappy and home ice advantage has seemingly been passed back and forth like a hot potato.

Tonight's game will likely come down to goaltending - will it be Bennington that steals the show, or will Rask hold things down for his side? On paper, these two teams are nearly identical - star players, grit players, great goaltending, great coaching, great fans.

Both teams will be counting on their superstars to have big games, as Marchard, Tarasenko and the rest will be counted on to find the net. If either of these players are shut down tonight, their teams will have a rough chance of winning.

There is not much else to say other than that - Game 7s are a virtual coin flip and can go either way. In the end, it usually boils down to which team gets the bounces and which team hits the goal posts.
