Gonzaga Biggest Favorites of Final Four With Seven Point Edge

The biggest surprise in this year's NCAA Men's Basketball Final Four is undoubtedly the South Carolina Gamecocks.
The team that virtually nobody had going this far in their brackets is now just one win away from reaching the finals, though they will be squaring off against the favored Gonzaga Bulldogs. The Gamecocks will have all that they can handle in the Final Four, as Gonzaga is very motivated to make it to the finals and has a significant advantage in the eyes of the bookmakers. South Carolina had a very lacklustre regular season this year, though none of that makes any difference if you can make to through to the tournament.

As mentioned, the seven point spread is the largest of the two Final Four games, as North Carolina has a five point edge over Oregon in the other game.

Gonzaga vs South Carolina will tip off at 6:09 pm EDT at the University of Phoenix Stadium.
Gonzaga, which concluded the regular season with a record of 32-1, finished as college basketball's #2 ranked team behind Villanova. Gonzaga scored an average of 83.2 points per game this season while allowing just 60.9, which was one of the stingiest totals in the nation.
South Carolina, on the other hand, finished out of the AP Top 25. South Carolina averaged a total of 73.2 points per game this season while allowing 64.9.
This will be South Carolina's first ever Final Four appearance.
