Bet on San Antonio Spurs vs Los Angeles Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers are in trouble. Big, big trouble.

Game 3 of the San Antonio/LA series will take place later tonight at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

The Spurs enter this game with a 2-0 lead in the series. The Los Angeles Lakers are having to cope without the services of Kobe Bryant, who suffered an injury to his Achilles tendon late in the season.

As if that wasn't bad enough, Steve Blake is definitely out for tonight's game, while Steve Nash and Jodie Meeks are both doubtful.

Even with a healthy team, the Lakers would be underdogs against the Spurs. Without Bryant and Steve Nash? It seems downright impossible that the Lakers could come back to win this series.

Let's look at the odds for tonight's game:

San Antonio Spurs, -5 1/2
Los Angeles Lakers, +5 1/2

Now, the moneyline:

San Antonio Spurs, -230
Los Angeles Lakers, +190

These moneyline odds mean that a successful $230 wager on the Spurs would net you a total profit of $100 if they were able to win, while a successful $100 bet on the Lakers would return a total profit of $190.

Finally, the over/under line is currently set at 186 points:

Over 186 Points, -105
Under 186 Points, -115

Can the Lakers can back to make this series competitive?
