Could Oprah Winfrey actually square off against President Trump in the 2020 US Presidential election?

It is already surreal enough having Donald Trump sitting in the White House, though things may turn absolutely bizarre in the 2020 election if Oprah Winfrey decides to run for President.

Winfrey sparked rumors that she might be running for President when she delivered a speech at last night's Golden Globe awards that quickly went viral and had many people clamoring for a 2020 Oprah Winfrey Presidential run.

There hasn't been any talk from the Winfrey camp about a potential run, and she may be more than happy just running her entertainment empire. If there is anybody with the influence and money who could take down President Trump in 2020, you would be hard-pressed to do worse than Oprah Winfrey, who would have a very good chance of winning. Winfrey is undoubtedly one of the most influential human beings in the world, and there is no doubt that she would likely do very well in a race against Donald Trump in 2020.

Winfrey has seen her odds to win the 2020 Presidential election shrink considerably over the past couple of days.

As of this moment, Winfrey is currently listed at 13.00 to win in 2020, which puts her right in the mix with the likes of Mike Pence, Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris and Bernie Sanders.

President Trump is currently listed at 3.25 to win in 2020. Despite all of the controversy that has swirled around Trump over the course of his first year in office, his hold over his base remains very firm and he will enjoy the incumbent's advantage when it comes time to campaign. There is no doubt that Trump is at his most comfortable and effective when he is campaigning, and he might prove to be hard to beat in 2020.
