After a great deal of frenetic activity over the last week or so of the regular season, the participating teams in the 2015 Stanley Cup playoffs have now been set.

Here are the first round match-ups in full:

Calgary Flames vs Vancouver Canucks
Anaheim Ducks vs Winnipeg Jets
Chicago Blackhawks vs Nashville Predators
Minnesota Wild vs St. Louis Blues

New York Rangers vs Pittsburgh Penguins
Montreal Canadiens vs Ottawa Senators
Tampa Bay Lightning vs Detroit Red Wings
New York Islanders vs Washington Capitals

There were certainly some surprises this year - for instance, NOBODY would have predicted that five Canadian teams would make it to the post-season. Prior to the season getting underway, most people had the Canucks, Senators, Flames and Jets all missing the playoffs.

The New York Rangers, who won the President's Trophy this season (this is given to the team with the best regular season record) are the current favourites to win Lord Stanley's mug. The Anaheim Ducks, who also had a very strong regular season, currently have the second best odds to win.

New York Rangers, 6.50
Anaheim Ducks, 8.00
Chicago Blackhawks, 10.00
