In 2015, the Dallas Cowboys had a valuation of roughly $4 billion, making them the NFL's most valuable franchise.
Fast forward to 2024, and the NFL's LEAST valuable franchise - the Cincinnati Bengals - is worth $4.1 billion.
The NFL is a money-making machine. The league splits a large chunk of its revenues - namely, TV money - evenly between the 32 franchises, meaning that each and every team in the NFL is comfortably profitable and worth billions.
The gap in valuations between the most valuable team (Dallas Cowboys) and least valuable team (Cincinnati Bengals) is due to the difference in local revenues - stadium naming deals, merchandise, etc. The Cowboys bring in almost $800 million in local revenue each and every year, while teams like the Bengals trail far behind.

The Bengals - owned by Michael Brown - are in one of the smallest NFL markets, which results in their more modest valuation of $4.1 billion, making them the league's least valuable team.
The team, which has stars such as Joe Burrow and Ja'Maar Chase, brought in $76 million in operating income last season. A very decent sum, but well behind the $500 million+ in operating income that the Dallas Cowboys brought in last year.
While the Bengals have done exceptionally well over the past couple of years, they are still the league's least valuable franchise, mainly due to their smaller market.
With that being said, the Bengals still get an even share of the NFL's TV deal money (among other things), and are a very profitable team.

Some of the other teams near the bottom of the valuation list include:
Detroit Lions, $4.15 Billion
Buffalo Bills, $4.2 Billion
Arizona Cardinals, $4.3 Billion
At the opposite end of the spectrum, here are the NFL's three most valuable teams:
1. Dallas Cowboys, $10.1 Billion
2. Los Angeles Rams, $7.6 Billion
3. New England Patriots, $7.4 Billion
