Dos Santos Currently Heavy Favourite To Beat Miocic

The main event of tomorrow evening’s UFC on Fox card will feature a Heavyweight tilt between Junior dos Santos and Stipe Miocic.

Junior dos Santos is making his first appearance in the UFC since losing to Cain Velasquez at UFC 166 in October of 2013. In that fight, Dos Santos was beaten badly as his face was a swollen mess at the conclusion of the tilt. Dos Santos took some time away to heal his wounds and make some changes to his camp and is hoping to show the world his new and improved self tomorrow night.

Stipe Miocic, on the other hand, is looking to build on a three fight winning streak that has seen him notch wins over Fabio Maldonado, Gabriel Gonzaga and Roy Nelson. This will easily be the biggest fight of Miocic’s career as he could leap into the upper echelons of the Heavyweight division with a victory.

Following his loss to Velasquez, many people have forgotten about Dos Santos’ incredible skills. It should be mentioned that if it weren’t for Velasquez, Dos Santos would almost certainly be the top fighter in the Heavyweight division.
