Definition of BC Lions Betting

What is the best way to bet on the BC Lions? What different types of bets can I make?

The BC Lions have been part of the CFL since joining the league in 1954.

Since that time, the Lions have managed to win the Grey Cup a total of six times, with their most recent victory coming in 2011.

The King explains the meaning of the term BC Lions Betting. British Columbia Lions are often in the contention for the Grey Cup.When it comes to betting on the CFL and the BC Lions specifically, there are a number of different options that are available.

To start, you can place a "futures" bet, which is where you bet on something that will happen in the future.

For instance - maybe you want to bet on the BC Lions to win the Grey Cup at 11.00. You place this bet before the season starts, as you think that the team will be good this year, and you want to take advantage of what you think is a good price.

After that, you can bet on what specifically what happen in a single game.

The most common bet is the spread bet, which will look like this:

BC Lions, +7.5, 1.90
Edmonton Elks, -7.5, 1.90

With this bet, if you take BC plus the 7.5 points, you would win your wager if they either win the game or lose by less than eight points.

Straight up bets are popular and might look like this:

BC Lions, 4.25
Edmonton Elks, 1.35

In this wager, if you back the Lions and they end up winning, you would win a substantial sum of money, as your wager would be multiplied by 4.25.

Another popular bet - the over/under. This is where you simply bet on whether a certain number of points will be scoring in the game.

For instance, the line might look like this:

45.5 Points

Over 45.5 Points, 1.90
Under 45.5 Points, 1.90

In addition, bets can be made via "in-game betting", which is a way to describe constantly updating odds that change based on what is happening during the game.

For instance - let's say that the Lions were big underdogs to win prior to the game getting underway, but they have jumped out to an early 10-0 lead.

The odds are now breakeven via "in-play betting" - if you feel that the Lions are looking good and will likely hold on to win, you can bet on them to win at even money via in-play betting.

Most sportsbooks offer betting on the CFL and the BC Lions.
