Denver Broncos Currently Listed at 3.20 To Win Super Bowl

At the beginning of the season, the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks were seen as the two clear favourites to win Super Bowl XLIX.

The Seahawks, after all, are the defending Super Bowl champions and managed to keep their team largely intact in the offseason, while the Broncos (who lost to the Seahawks in the Super Bowl) made a number of improvements to their team (especially their defense). With Peyton Manning leading the high-powered Broncos' offense, most people figured that they would find themselves in the championship game once again.

Over the past couple of weeks, the Seahawks have tailed off (losing to the Cowboys and Rams) while the Broncos have seemingly stepped on the gas. The Seahawks are now 3-3 and in very real danger of missing the playoffs, while the Broncos are 6-1 and sitting at the top of the AFC.

The scary thing is the ease at which Peyton Manning and the Broncos are dismantling opposing defenses. The Broncos have played two very good teams over the past two weeks, the San Francisco 49ers and the San Diego Chargers, and put up at least 35 points on both teams. The Broncos offense is an embarrassment of riches, as teams have been unable to handle the likes of Demaryius Thomas, Julius Thomas, Wes Welker and Emmanuel Sanders. The trio of Demaryius Thomas, Julius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders are all on pace to record career years.

With all of that being said, the Broncos are currently the CLEAR favourites to win this year's Super Bowl. Let's look at the odds of the top five teams to win:

Denver Broncos, 3.20
Green Bay Packers, 8.50
Seattle Seahawks, 10.00
New England Patriots, 11.00
Dallas Cowboys, 11.00

The Cowboys have surprised everyone by getting out to a strong start, but they are not seen as much of a match for the high-powered Broncos.

Will the Broncos win the Super Bowl this season?
