It's Rafael Nadal and then everybody else on the men's side of the 2018 French Open draw.
Nadal, the world's #1 ranked player, is coming off of a clay court victory at the Monte Carlo Masters. With the French Open set to get underway next month, Nadal is looking to be back in prime clay court form after a number of injuries sidetracked the talented player a few years ago.
When Nadal is healthy, there is no player that is more dominant on the clay surface. In fact, Nadal is easily the most dominant clay court player that has ever lived.
With Nadal surging, this doesn't leave the likes of Novak Djokovic and Dominic Thiem with much hope. Roger Federer, who is battling a back injury, recently announced that he will miss the entire 2018 clay court season.
In short - unless something completely unexpected happens, the 2018 French Open is Nadal's for the taking. Amazingly, this would be Nadal's 10th title at Roland-Garros if he is able to emerge victorious.
