Louisville vs Wichita State Odds

Wichita State will look to continue their improbable run when they take on Louisville in one of the "Final Four" games on Saturday evening. The game, which will be getting underway at around 6:05 pm EST, will be taking place at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Georgia.

Louisville advanced to the Final Four by beating NC A+T, Colorado State, Oregon and Duke, while Wichita State advanced to the Final Four by beating Pittsburgh, Gonzaga, La Salle and Ohio State. Wichita State was the #9 ranked team in the Western Region, so their run to the Final Four has caught most people by surprise.

Louisville will have to do without the services of Kevin Ware on Saturday, as he suffered a gruesome broken leg during Louisville's win over Duke. Louisville used the incident as a rallying point in their game against Duke - it will be interesting to see if they can do the same against Wichita State.

As you could probably guess, Louisville is a big favorite to beat Wichita State on Saturday. Let's look at the current betting odds:

Louisville, -10.5, -110
Wichita State, +10.5, -110

So, let's say that you wanted to take Wichita State plus the 10 1/2 points. This would mean that a successful $110 wager would yield you a total of $100 in profit if Wichita State was able to lose by 10 points or less.

Now, let's look at the "moneyline", which is the odds to win the game straight up:

Wichita State, +475
Louisville, -650

So, you would need to bet $650 on Louisville in order to have a chance of winning $100 in profit back, while a successful $100 wager on Wichita State would yield you a total profit of $475 if they were able to pull off the upset.

Lastly, the over/under line is currently set at 132.5 points:

Over 132.5 points, -110
Under 132.5 points, -110
