Tyson Fury has an incredible backstory, which is one of the major reasons why he is so popular.

Fury is called "The Gypsy King" as his family, both on his mother's and father's sides, are descendents of Irish travellers.

In fact, Fury has said that proving his Irish heritage has been one of the most difficult tasks of his career, as there wasn't much in the way of paperwork to prove where his family was from, due to their travelling ways.

Tyson Fury's father, John Fury, has a very colourful past, as he spent a long stretch in jail after gouging out another man's eye at the height of a personal dispute. John Fury, like his son, is very outspoken, and has fought professionally a number of times.
