Patrick Roy is one of the greatest goalies in hockey history.

Patrick had a remarkable career in the sport of hockey.

He won the Stanley Cup four times, lifting it with the Montreal Canadiens in 1986 and 1993, and then two more times with the Colorado Avalanche in 1996 and 2001. Roy is the only player in league history to win the Conn Smythe Trophy three times.

Roy represented his nation of Canada in several big tournaments, including the Winter Olympics and the World Cup of Hockey.

Hehad a few nicknames throughout his career. He was often called "St. Patrick" due to his exceptional performances in big moments, which earned him a saintly reputation. Additionally, he was sometimes called "The Wall" because of his ability to make incredible saves and deny the opposing team.

In 2006, Patrick Roy was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame.
