Chris Paul plays as a point guard for the Phoenix Suns of the NBA and is widely acknowledged as one of the greatest point guards in the history of the NBA.

Paul started his professional career with Demon Deacons at the College Basketball level before being drafted in at the 2005 NBA Draft. Chris Paul was picked by New Orleans Hornets as the fourth overall pick. Over the years, he played key roles for Los Angeles Clippers, Houston Rockets, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Phoenix Suns. He won the NBA rookie of the year award in 2006 and finished second in the NBA's MVP voting in 2008.

His ability to force play, control the game, and keep the opposition's defenses on their toes has made him a basketball giant. He has made it to the NBA All-star on 12 separate occasions so far. Moreover, he is a two-time Olympic Gold Medalist with successful campaigns at the Beijing 2008 and London 2012 Summer Olympics.

Such has been the impact of the point God that he has finished as the NBA Assists Leader Five times and been the NBA Steals Leader in 6 seasons, including four consecutive seasons between 2011 and 2014. He was also the MVP at the NBA All-star Game in 2013. These performances are more than enough to justify the tag of the Point God and put him among the greatest point guards of all time.

In chronological order, his father was CP1, his brother CP2, and the basketball prodigy was tagged as CP3. Thus, Chris Paul was called CP3 from a very young age.

Later on, the nickname CP3 dictated his choice of Jersey Number 3 at the NBA Level.

The Skating Instructor: had first listed Chris Paul as the skating instructor. And since then, the nickname has been trending on Twitter and other forums. The nickname Skating Instructor originated from Chris Paul's killer crossovers and fascinating ball-handling ability. It is famously argued that Paul keeps the opposition players on the skates. This has made the nickname "The Skating Instructor" famous as he often dictates terms to the opposition players with his speed and agility.
