Super Bowl 2019 is taking place at the Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. Over the past few weeks, we've seen a bit of separation at the top of the heap when it comes to the favourites to win the Super Bowl.

A few weeks ago, there was a virtual tie between the likes of the Saints, Rams and Chiefs. Now, with just one week left in the regular season, the New Orleans Saints, led by Drew Brees, are the clear favourites to win.

Buoyed by a dramatic win over the Pittsburgh Steelers this past weekend, the Saints have now secured home field advantage throughout the playoffs. This is a big advantage for the team, as the Saints are very hard to beat at home, with the "fast track" of their stadium playing to their biggest advantages - speed and a diversity of offensive talent.

As of this moment, the Saints are 13/5 to win the Super Bowl, which is head and shoulders above the rest of the pack.

The Rams and Chiefs have both had phenomenal seasons, though both have seen the bloom come off of the rose a bit.

The Chiefs lost to the Seahawks on Sunday night, which might cost them a chance to gain home field advantage through the AFC Championship. The Rams, on the other hand, are dealing with a knee injury to arguably their best player, Todd Gurley. What that being said, however, Gurley is expected to be healthy for the playoffs.

Both the Rams and Chiefs are currently 5/1 to win the Super Bowl.

Next up is the New England Patriots, who have been quietly putting together another super solid season. Tom Brady is putting together some strong games at the right time, and the Patriots are quite healthy heading into the post-season. Tom Brady and company are always very hard outs in the playoffs, and their post-season experience will make them very hard to beat.

The Patriots are currently 13/2 to win the Super Bowl.

Odds Subject to Change

New Orleans Saints, 13/5
Los Angeles Rams, 5/1
Kansas City Chiefs, 5/1
New England Patriots, 13/2
Los Angeles Chargers, 14/1
Chicago Bears, 12/1
Baltimore Ravens, 16/1
Dallas Cowboys, 16/1
Houston Texans, 25/1
Seattle Seahawks, 30/1
Minnesota Vikings, 33/1
Indianapolis Colts, 35/1
Pittsburgh Steelers, 45/1
Philadelphia Eagles, 50/1
Tennessee Titans, 45/1

The Seattle Seahawks, at 30/1, are likely one of the best values heading into the postseason. They have plenty of playoff experience, a solid rushing attack, a surprisingly good defence and an extremely good quarterback. Nobody wants to play the Seahawks in the playoffs.

The Baltimore Ravens are another potential dark horse, led by a strong defence and multi-pronged rushing attack.

Two keys to playoff success - strong defence and strong running backs, and teams like the Seahawks, Ravens and even Cowboys could end up surprising.
