Los Angeles Lakers Getting 50%+ of Bets as Season Begins

When it comes to NBA Championship futures, there is the Los Angeles Lakers and then everybody else.
According to multiple Las Vegas books, more than 50% of the total money that is being bet on NBA Championship futures (2020/21) is going towards the Los Angeles Lakers, who are the defending NBA champions.
The Lakers have been helped out by the fact that Klay Thompson is going to miss another year for the Golden State Warriors, which makes the Western Conference pretty wide open again for the Lakers.
After all, the Los Angeles Clippers were thought to be the biggest threat, though they are in turmoil heading into this season, with questions surrounding their new coach and their two superstars, Kawhi Leonard and Paul George.
The Lakers, on the other hand, got even better this offseason, inking a number of deals that will improve both their depth and the weapons that are around Lebron James.
On top of that, Anthony Davis, arguably the league's best players, re-upped his contract and will now be in Los Angeles for the long-term.

Questions surround the teams in the Eastern Conference as well. Do the likes of the Brooklyn Nets, Milwaukee Bucks and Boston Celtics have what it takes to defeat Lebron/AD in a 7 game series?
The Nets, with KD and Kyrie, are supremely talented on paper, but how will the two superstars mesh over the course of a full season?
How will the Bucks perform in the playoffs?
Are the Celtics good enough to win a title?
