There was a big sports betting payoff in the UK. For a London, UK bettor, this past weekend was truly something to remember.

This bettor decided to place a 6-leg parlay for a total cost of £11.50, which works out to about $15 US Dollars.

The parlay had a ridiculously big payoff - £1,039,554.00 if all six legs hit, or approximately $1.37 million USD.

-

How did a 6-leg parlay produce such a massive payout?

The first two selections were quite tame - Croatia to beat Scotland at 2.40, and England to beat the Czech Republic at 1.55.

The rest of the ticket, however, required that the bettor correctly pick the winners of the Bridgestone Senior Players Championship, KPMG Womens PGA Championship, BMW International Open and Travelers Championship.

Anything can happen in the game of golf, especially in the final round of play.

-

The entire ticket looked like this:

Croatia to Win, 2.40
England to Win, 1.55
Steve Stricker to Win Bridgestone Senior Players Championship, 6.00
Nelly Korda to Win KPMG Womens PGA Championship, 15.00
Viktor Hovland to Win BMW International Open, 7.50
Harris English to Win Travelers Championship, 36.00

-

Harris English was the last and most difficult part of the ticket.

It took English eight playoff holes to win the Travelers Championship, which was surely outright torture for the holder of this ticket.

-

In the end, however, this ticket paid off, and somebody walked away a brand-new millionaire.
