UEFA Lifts Ban - Zlatan Ibrahimovic is Eligible to Play in the First Leg of the UEFA Champions League Quarter-final vs. Barcelona

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the PSG striker and top goalscorer in Franch Ligue 1 this season, will be available for the first leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-final match vs. Barcelona which takes place on Tuesday 2 April 2013 in Paris.

Ibrahimovic was given a red card and a two match suspension for the foul committed in the last minutes of the first leg vs. Valencia in the round of 16. He sat out for the second leg while PSG filed a complaint to the UEFA's Appeals Body arguing that the ball was out of play at the time the foul was committed. UEFA reviewed the complaint and the appeal was accepted earlier today to reduce Ibrahimovic's suspension from two games to one.

This is a big deal for PSG and all the football fans alike as we get to see the French side in full force against mighty Barcelona.

The odds at the bookies for the upcoming match will probably move a little in favour of PSG from here on.

PSG 7/2
Draw 3/1
Barcelona 8/11

This means that a $100 bet on PSG returns $450 while the same bet on Barcelona returns $172 if successful.

This should be a great match!
