Definition of Tricast Bet



What does the term "tricast bet" mean in the betting world? What is meant by the term "tricast bet"?

In betting, a "tricast bet" means that you are betting on who will finish 1st, 2nd and 3rd, AND you are guessing the correct order in which they finish.

The "tricast bet" is often used in horse racing, though it can also be used on bets such as the correct finishing order at the top of the English Premier League.

1st: Man City, 2nd: Liverpool, 3rd: Tottenham

So, this case, if Man City finishes first, Liverpool finishes second and Tottenham finished third, you would be paid out at 8.00.

If Man City finishes first but Tottenham finishes second and Liverpool finishes third, you would lose your bet.
