Vancouver Canucks vs Calgary Flames Odds

Published on February 9th, 2013 12:55 pm EST
The Calgary Flames will head to Vancouver to do battle against the Canucks on Saturday night. The game will be shown at 10 pm EST on Hockey Night in Canada.

After a slow start to the year, the Flames have come on in recent days, winning their last two in a row. This is despite an injury to Miikka Kiprusoff, who is currently out of the line-up with a sprained MCL.

The Flames are 3-3-2 on the year and are currently sitting in 4th place in the Northwest Division. Calgary has recently picked up wins over Detroit (4-1) and Columbus (4-3).

The Canucks, on the other hand, have managed to get off to a 6-2-2 start despite injuries to Ryan Kesler and David Booth. The Canucks are in the midst of a goaltending controversy, as Cory Schneider and Roberto Luongo continue to battle for the #1 spot.

Despite these issues, the Canucks have gotten off to a strong start this year thanks to great goaltending and some unexpected secondary scoring. The Canucks are currently in the midst of a four game winning streak.

The Canucks are 3-1-1 at home this year, while the Flames are 2-0-1 on the road.
