Washington Redskins vs Minnesota Vikings Betting Line

It's going to be a battle of under-achieving teams tonight, as the Washington Redskins are set to do battle against the Minnesota Vikings.

The Minnesota Vikings are currently swirling the bottom of the toilet in the NFC North, as they have posted a record of 1-7-0 through the first nine weeks of the season. The team has lost four games in a row and is already looking forward to next year. The biggest question mark for the Vikings remains at QB, as they have tried Matt Cassel, Christian Ponder and Josh Freeman so far this season, with none of the three men accumulating any sort of success.

The Washington Redskins, on the other hand, still have a faint glimmer of hope. The Redskins are currently 3-5-0 on the season, and could pull within a game of the division leading Dallas Cowboys with a victory tonight. It's safe to say that the Redskins MUST win tonight if they have any hope of winning the division.

Let's take a look at the odds for tonight's game, starting with the spread:

Washington Redskins, -1.5, -110
Minnesota Vikings, +1.5, -110

As you can see, the Redskins are small favorites to win on the road.

Now, the money line, which are the odds to win the game straight up:

Washington Redskins, -125
Minnesota Vikings, +105

So, according to these odds, a successful $125 wager on the Redskins would yield a total profit of $100, while a successful $100 bet on the Vikings would return a total profit of $105.

The over/under line is currently set at 49 points:

Over 49 points, -110
Under 49 points, -110

Can RGIII lead the Redskins to victory on the road, or will the Vikings net a rare victory?
