Card To Be Headlined By Middleweight Title Between Whittaker and Gastelum

The UFC has had some really great cards to start the year, and UFC 234: Whittaker vs Gastelum looks to continue that trend. This card will feature Robert Whittaker attempting to make his second successful Middleweight title defence against Kelvin Gastelum, who is arguably the most underrated fighter in the Middleweight division. Gastelum has a number of big scalps on his resume, and he will be looking for the biggest of his career when he takes on Robert Whittaker in Australia at UFC 234.
The co-main event will feature a super intriguing fight between Anderson Silva and Israel Adesanya. Silva is one of the GOATs, while Adesanya is one of the brightest up-and-coming stars in the promotion. Silva is known as being one of the greatest strikers in the history of the UFC, while Adesanya has electrified during his short time in the UFC with his insane kickboxing skills. This is a showcase fight for Adesanya, though Silva will be looking to turn back the clock to slow Adesanya's rapid ascension.
Some of the other intriguing fights on this card include Lando Vannata v Marcos Rosa and Rani Yahya v Ricky Simon.
It's clear that the UFC tried to load this card with some of the promotion's top strikers in order to appeal to the fans in Australia, and it has clearly worked, as this card looks to be a banger.

Robert Whittaker is a -250 favourite to defeat Gastelum, though Gastelum certainly shouldn't be slept on. Gastelum has a win against Ronaldo Souza under his belt, so he is certainly capable of giving the champion a great test.
Israel Adesanya is a big favourite to defeat the aging Silva, as Adesanya is currently listed at -650 to win. Can we discount Silva that much against a fighter who is still relatively inexperienced in the Octagon? This should be a fascinating tilt.
