Travis Kelce is a special athlete and is clearly the best tight end in the NFL. Ask any of his fantasy owners about the joys of having Travis Kelce on their rosters.
With three weeks in the regular season, Travis Kelce has his sights set on a very special mark - the NFL leader for receiving yards.
In the history of the NFL, no tight end has ever led the league in receiving yards.
With just three games left in the regular season, Travis Kelce has a very real chance of setting this mark.
Here are the current leaders in receiving yards as of this moment:
Travis Kelce, 1,250
DK Metcalf, 1,180
Stefon Diggs, 1,167
Tyreek Hill, 1,158
DeAndre Hopkins, 1,155
Davante Adams, 1,144
Patrick Mahomes has said that he wants Kelce to win OPOY of the year this year, and what better way to do it than to become the first tight end to ever lead the NFL in receiving yards?

The Chiefs have a pretty favourable schedule to close out the season, as they play against the Saints, Falcons and Chargers - all three of those games could be shootouts.
The biggest potential issue? The Chiefs might just be too good.
Will the Chiefs have anything to play for in the final week of the season? There is a very good chance that they will have the #1 seed in the AFC wrapped up by that point.
Would they play Mahomes and Kelce for a full game in order for Kelce to get the record?

If Kelce doesn't play in the final game, Tyreek Hill won't either.
The two biggest challenges to Kelce at this point are probably DK Metcalf and Davante Adams, as both men are capable of massive 200+ yard games.

Can Kelce get the record? You know that, at the very least, Mahomes and Kelce will try their hardest to reach it.
