AS Roma striker and Bosnia Herzegovina international, Edin Dzeko, celebrating a goal. The year is 2017. Champions League group stage action returns this week with a large number of games.

Some of the contests are set to be laughers (PSG at home against Anderlecht, Liverpool at home against Maribor), so we thought that we'd focus on one of the closest contests of the week - Roma playing at home to Chelsea.

Chelsea and AS Roma are currently sitting at the top of Group C, though Atletico Madrid will surely be gaining some ground on one (or both) of the clubs by the end of this week.

Here are the current Group C standings:

Chelsea FC, 2-1-0, 7 points
AS Roma, 1-2-0, 5 points
Atletico Madrid, 0-2-1, 2 points
Qarabag FK, 0-1-2, 1 point

A win for either Chelsea or Roma on Tuesday would guarantee them placement at the top of the group. A draw could be worrisome for both clubs, as Atletico Madrid is likely going to secure a victory this week.

Let's take a look at the betting odds for this clash:

Roma, 2.72
Chelsea, 2.75
Draw, 3.39

As you can see, there is practically no edge here - as close to a coin flip as you are ever going to see.

Here are the five likeliest outcomes of Tuesday's match:

Draw 1-1, 6.5
Chelsea 2-1, 10.00
Roma 2-1, 10.00
Roma 1-0, 11.00
Chelsea 1-0, 11.00
