According to online sports book William Hill, the New England Patriots are the current favourites to win Super Bowl 51 at 7/1. They are followed by the Carolina Panthers and Seattle Seahawks, who are both 8/1 to win next season, while the Green Bay Packers (12/1), Pittsburgh Steelers (12/1), Arizona Cardinals (14/1) and Denver Broncos (14/1) are further off the pace.

According to William Hill, the Pittsburgh Steelers are currently the top choice to win next year's Super Bowl, at least in the eyes of bettors. According to the site, 15% of all of the money that has been wagered on Super Bowl 51 so far has been dropped on the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Seattle Seahawks have had a very healthy 12% of total dollars wagered on them, while the Denver Broncos (8%), New England Patriots (7%) and Carolina Panthers (6%) are all in the single digits.

It's not hard to see why the Steelers may be the top choice to win Super Bowl 51. Despite being beset by a rash of injuries this year, the Steelers still made the playoffs and still managed to win a postseason game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Steelers lost their top running back, Le'Veon Bell, to a knee injury. Ben Roethlisberger, who has taken a beating over the course of his career, was injured in the playoffs but still managed to lead his team to a victory.

A healthy Steelers line-up will be able to put out one of the most unstoppable offences in the NFL, as they will have "Big Ben" at QB, Le'Veon Bell at RB and two of the top receivers in the league, Antonio Brown and Martavis Bryant. Assuming that everyone can stay healthy, the Steelers will be nearly impossible to stop, as they will be fielding quite possibly the top RB and top WR in the league. With the Denver Broncos likely to take a step back next season, the Steelers may find themselves in a position to lock up a home playoff game if they perform as expected.

Much can change over the course of a season, though the Steelers look very much like they are going to do some damage next year, and the betting public is certainly on board with this theory.
