Minnesota Vikings hold the record for most draft picks in a single NFL draft. The year was 2020. When teams are rebuilding in the NFL, they will look to accumulate draft picks in order to fill their team with young players.

This is also a great way to fit a team under the salary cap, as young players are cheap.

Since the NFL draft switched to 7 rounds, multiple teams (Cleveland, Miami) have had 14 picks in a single draft.

The record, however, belongs to the 2020 Minnesota Vikings, who had a total of 15 draft picks in a single 7-round draft.

The Vikings entered the draft with 12 picks, thanks to the Stefon Diggs trade which included a total of 4 draft picks.

After trading back a few times, the Vikings found themselves with a total of 15 draft picks.

Here is who the Vikings ended up picking in the 2020 NFL Draft:

1. Justin Jefferson
2. Jeff Gladney
3. Ezra Cleveland
4. Cameron Dantzler
5. D.J. Wonnum
6. James Lynch
7. Troy Dye
8. Harrison Hand
9. K.J. Osborn
10. Blake Brandel
11. Josh Metellus
12. Kenny Willekes
13. Nathan Stanley
14. Brian Cole
15. Kyle Hinton

Justin Jefferson was obviously a fantastic pick for the Vikings, as he is arguably the best young receiver in the league.

Jeff Gladney was a disaster, as he was released after being indicted for domestic violence.
