All Eyes on Dysfunctional Giants Team as They Play Host to Philadelphia Eagles

It's not hyperbole to say that the season is on the line for the New York Giants tonight as they play host to the defending Super Bowl champions from Philadelphia. The Giants have gotten off to a horrendous 1-4 start so far this season after being dealt a horrible blow against the Carolina Panthers last week. The Giants appeared poised to steal a game from Cam Newton and company - that was until Cano decided to bomb a 63-yard field goal in the last seconds of the game to win.
Despite having a phenomenal talent in the form of RB Saquon Barkley, the Giants have been unable to click in other aspects of their game. Most worrying is the fact that newly signed Odell Beckham Jr. is already acting up, questioning whether or not Eli Manning is the QB to lead the team forward. Given the fact that OBJ recently signed a new monster contract, this has Giants' fans feeling sick to their stomachs.
The good news for the Giants is that the other teams in the NFC East are also off to bad starts, as the Redskins sit at the top of the division with a record of 2-2.
That being said, the Giants must win tonight if they have any hope of contending in the NFC East, as getting off to a 1-5 start virtually eliminates them from the playoff race.
The Philadelphia Eagles have also gotten off to a slow start, as they are currently 2-3. The Super Bowl champions have been dealing with a number of injuries, and they were dealt another blow when Jay Ajayi was ruled out for the season with an ACL tear.
