Green Bay Packers Look To Extend Unbeaten Streak Against Eagles on Thursday Night Football

The Green Bay Packers are off to a great start this season, compiling an unbeaten 3-0 record. The Philadelphia Eagles, on the other hand, are just 1-2, despite the return of Carson Wentz to the line-up.
Here is the funny thing: the Packers likely haven't been as good as their record would indicate (especially on offence), while the Eagles likely deserved to win at least one of the games that they lost.
This is what makes for such an interesting clash on Thursday Night Football this week. The Eagles are desperately looking to avoid going 1-3 (especially with the Cowboys continuing to win at the top of the division), while the Packers would love nothing more than to keep putting wins in the bank.
The Eagles suffered a heart-breaking loss against the Atlanta Falcons a few weeks ago - it seemed as though they were going to pull out a win on the road in primetime, only to succumb to a late Julio Jones touchdown.
The Packers, on the other hand, have gotten out to fast starts in all three of their games so far, only to falter in the second half.
The Packers have been saved by their defence so far, which has been greatly improved after team management decided to splash out on some high-profile players.
The Packers' offence, on the other hand, has been surprisingly flat, and they need to get Davante Adams more involved in their games, as he remains one of the league's premier playmakers.
The Eagles remain balanced on both sides of the ball, though their receivers have been decimated by injury. They start to get some of their bigger wide receivers back on Thursday Night, as Alshon Jeffery is set to return to the line-up.
