The Baltimore Ravens will take on the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bow XLVII on February 3rd, 2013. The game will take place in the Mercedez-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.

There are a number of interesting stories leading into this game, including:

-the Harbaugh brothers coaching against each other

-the emergence of Colin Kaepernick as one of the league's most dynamic young quarterbacks

-Joe Flacco's strong postseason

-Ray Lewis' "last ride"

It may not surprise you to learn that Kaepernick, Flacco and Lewis currently have the best odds of winning this year's Super Bowl MVP award. Names such as Frank Gore, Ray Rice and Michael Crabtree are also high on the list as well.

Here are the current MVP betting odds for some of the more prominent players in this year's Super Bowl:

Colin Kaepernick, 9/5
Joe Flacco, 11/4
Ray Lewis, 13/2
Frank Gore, 15/2
Ray Rice, 10/1
Michael Crabtree, 16/1
Anquan Boldin, 18/1
Ed Reed, 30/1

Ray Lewis is the sentimental favorite to win this award, as the long-time veteran of the NFL will be playing in his very last game.

Having said that, given the recent play of both Kaepernick and Flacco, the smart money would definitely be on one of them winning the MVP award.

This should be a fun Super Bowl - the 49ers are currently listed as 4 point favorites.
